To enhance the quality of lives for those living in Boundary County by providing safe, well-maintained parks and recreation opportunities where people of all ages and abilities can play, learn, and build community.  

Goals & Objectives:

• Oversee and promote County-owned parks and recreation facilities and programs 
• Maintain and improve facilities to meet community needs, safety standards, and accessibility goals 
• Provide diverse year-round recreational opportunities and sports programs for all ages 
• Support youth development by promoting sportsmanship, skill-building, teamwork, and healthy competition 
• Encourage volunteerism and community involvement 
• Advance recreation opportunities through collaboration and partnerships within the community
