To provide safe, accessible, and inclusive tennis and pickleball opportunities that promote recreation, wellness, and community connection for all ages and skill levels.
BACKGROUND - Nearly 50 Years Old
The tennis courts were constructed in 1979 and have served the community for nearly 50 years. For decades, they have provided a free and accessible space for recreation, youth activity, and community connection.
They are also the only public tennis courts in Boundary County, making them an important and unique recreational asset for all ages and skill levels.
COMMUNITY VALUE
The courts continue to see strong use, averaging approximately 150+ players per week, including both local residents and visiting players. They support casual recreation, adult league, youth camp and development. Demand for court access remains steady and continues to grow.
CURRENT CONDITIONS
After decades of use and exposure to North Idaho’s climate, the courts have deteriorated and now require significant attention to maintain safe, quality play.
Key issues include:
COMMUNITY NEED
A full replacement is needed to restore safe, reliable access for the community and expand to better meet community demand and support future growth in both tennis and pickleball.

Your support can help bring these courts back to life and expand them for generations to come.
